BIGGS — November 2, 2026. Biggs runs its own water, sewer and electric utilities, and its municipal billing schedule distinguishes the regular due date from the deadline for avoiding a late charge.
How the billing cycle works
According to the city, meters are read around the 15th of each month, statements are normally issued on the last business day and payment is due on the 10th of the following month. To avoid delinquency penalties, payments must be received by 4 p.m. on the 20th, subject to weekend and holiday adjustments.
Fees and disconnection
The city posts a late fee of 10% or $10, whichever is greater. It describes later delinquency notices and service-disconnection procedures. A customer facing a notice should call City Hall before assuming that an online bank transfer will post on time.
Where to pay or ask
Biggs lists 465 C Street and phone 530-868-5493 for utility questions. Its online portal and payment drop box are listed through the municipal utility page.
